My first HypnoBirth baby and I.

My first HypnoBirth baby and I.

Hello and welcome, my name is Kathryne Bareis and I'm a Certified HypnoBirthing practitioner, a Certified Encapsulation Specialist, and a Dona trained Doula.   I have been working with postpartum mothers for the last 16+ years and fell in love with helping families and laboring mothers.   When I first decided to further my studies I became a Dona trained Doula.  Training as a doula gave me an eye opening experience, I realized so many of us are un-informed about labor and birthing babies.  It has become very empowering to see that birth doesn't have to be a painful, scary, fear based process that has been implanted in our heads.

Partaking in my first HypnoBirthing birth changed my world!  Meghan and Alan (the couple you see on my home page) called me to meet them at the birth center.  When I walked into the birth center, I heard spa music playing, the lights were dim low, candles were lit, and the birthing mom was relaxing in a bath tub that had floating flowers in it.  I thought to myself, "well she must not be in active labor yet.”  However, Meghan was so in tuned with her birthing body she didn't even seem to notice who was in the room.  She wasn't screaming, or fearful, but, in fact, appeared to be in a calm state.   Meghan breathed her baby down, no one was intrusively telling her to push her baby out.   When baby Quinn gently came into the world, mom, dad, and baby were so peaceful and happy.  I couldn't believe birth could look like this!

After such and amazing experience I took my passion for birth and became a certified HypnoBirthing Practitioner. My philosophy on teaching all my different birthing classes is I want you to have a birth that works best for you and your family.  I do this by teaching you all your options before, during, and after birth.  I will give you the tools to labor without fear, to have confidence, and to trust your body and your baby.  Most important, I want you leaving class feeling liberated and excited about welcoming your new baby into the world. Not only do I teach HypnoBirthing, but I have had two amazing HypnoBirths myself and look forward to sharing my experience and knowledge with you!
