CLASS INFORMATION

HypnoBirthing classes are recommended to start around 5-7 months pregnant, but the information is very useful even if you take the class last minute!

The HypnoBirthing series is 5 classes 2.5 hours long. You can choose to do a Live Zoom group class from the comfort of your home with other expecting parents. Parents have really enjoyed this because they don’t have to drive anywhere after work, you can eat dinner during the class, and you don’t have to miss class if you are traveling. I teach the exact same way during Zoom as I do in person. I teach you all the tools you need & you put them into practice. I make one on one time for anyone who needs extra time after class as well.

I’am also a Certified Lactation Counsler, so as a thank you for taking my class I have added a FREE Breastfeeding 101 section to the end of the series to help you start your breastfeeding journey with some good tips and tricks!

When you pay for the class you have automatically reserved your spot for class!

WHAT IS HYPNOBIRTHING?

HypnoBirthing is a childbirth method, that focuses on preparing parents for gentle birth. HypnoBirthing encourages a calm, peaceful, and natural pregnancy, birth, and bonding experience for families.  When a mother is prepared for birthing physically and mentally, she can experience birthing her baby in an easier, more comfortable, and often pain-free manner. Other child birth methods teach women how to cope with pain during labor, where HypnoBirthing teaches women that pain can be avoided because it is caused by constrictor hormones, which are created by fear. Mothers learn in HypnoBirthing class to release fear and how to create natural endorphins that block pain through hypnosis. HypnoBirthing teaches you what happens to your body and baby during labor and gives you all the tools you'll need to have the type of birth you want.  The more you know about labor, the more options you have.

WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF HYPNOBIRTHING?

  • Eliminate the Fear-Tension-Pain Syndrome before, during and after birthing.

  • Reduces, and often eliminates, the need for chemical anesthesia, episiotomy, and other medical interventions.

  • Lessens fatigue during labor, leaving the mother fresh, awake, and energized as she brings her baby into the world.

  • Shortens the beginning  stages of labor.

  • If you have a birthing companion, they become an integral part of the birth.

  • Special Breathing works with your uterus so you have a more comfortable, faster labor.

  • Babies are better adjusted and happier, resulting in better eating and sleeping routines.

  • Lessens your chance for having a breech baby.

  • Lessens your chance for having a cesarian.
