About Me
Hello & welcome, my name is Kathryne Bareis & I’m a Certified HypnoBirthing® Practitioner, Certified Placenta Encapsulation Specialist, Certified Lactation Counselor, DONA Birth Doula, a mother of two boys, and strong advocate for women’s autonomy.
Anyone who has met me knows I’am passionate about my job & I love what I do! You don’t have to walk this path alone I’m here to hold space, offer guidance, and help you feel empowered, informed, and deeply supported as you bring new life into the world. From preparing the mind and body for birth with HypnoBirthing, to offering continuous, compassionate support during labor, to nurturing postpartum recovery through placenta encapsulation and lactation counseling—I provide personalized care every step of the way. My philosophy on teaching is I want you to leave my class feel empowered, prepared to make informed choices, & most important excited to welcome your baby into the world. I do this by teaching you ALL your options before, during, and after birth. I will give you the tools to labor without fear, to have confidence, & to trust your body & your baby. Not only do I teach HypnoBirthing, but I have had two amazing HypnoBirths myself & I look forward to sharing my experience and knowledge with you!
Over the years I have become very passionate about educating and supporting mothers during their postpartum journey as I have seen there is very little support for mothers in this time. There is so much energy focused on preparing for baby to get here, but not much time is spent on the mothers recovery. When we prepare for the 4th trimester mothers are more seen & have a smoother times transitioning into parenthood. Placenta encapsulation has been a key role in helping many mothers have smoother postpartum recovery & I’m so happy to be apart of that process.
I became a Lactation Counselor after seeing so many mothers struggle with breastfeeding when they got home from the hospital. It felt like there was very little help in this area for new mothers- so I made it a priority to get certified in Lactation. It was important to me that I could be there for moms in the early days when they needed the most support.
Being a mother myself it was so overwhelming having to hire individual people for each of my prenatal & postnatal support needs. My goal is to have a comprehensive birth business where you feel safe & cared about.
Everyone deserves to be heard & supported before, during, and after labor. I feel fortunate to be apart of this very special time in your life & I look forward to helping you in anyway I can!
